Selection of Cluster Development Executive (CDE)

Details of CDE Selection

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement as Cluster Development Executive on contract basis in the SFURTI Cluster being implemented by the Adhar Samajik Sanstha, Yalgud, with the active supervision of the Khadi & Village Industries Commission (KVIC) and Ministry of MSME, Govt.of India.

SFURTI programme is a project-based scheme formulated by the Govt. of India and are being implemented by the Implementing Agency which are mainly Institutions/Societies /NGO’s registered under the Societies Registration Act. Engagement of CDE is purely temporary and is limited for a period of 3 years from the date of contractual engagement or till the end of the Project period, whichever happens earlier. The engagement contract of CDE will be co-terminus with the project and purely temporary in nature, the candidate shall not be entitled to claim employment or permanency under any of the Agencies implementing the Programme.

The essential qualification and other details are as under:

Essential Qualifications - Graduate in any Discipline preferably B.E in any discipline/  BBA/BCA or Diploma in Management, with computer proficiency in MS-Office, Tally etc.

Desirable Qualification - Graduate in Management/Rural Development /MSW having training in any Khadi or Village Industry activity under KVIC/KVIB. Fluency in English language is mandatory.

Age - Not exceeding 40 years (as on 30.04.2020)

Experience - One year experience of working in rural background preferably with NGO’s/Self Help Groups/Industry Associations, Govt. Organization engaged in Rural Development and the Rural Industrialization, Consultancy Organization etc. Experience of working in Jewellery Cluster Activity would be an added advantage.

Remuneration - Rs.15000/- and Rs.3000/P.M as Mobility /TA totaling   Rs.18000/-per month.

Job Description - Conceptualize the overall development of Cluster and initiate implementation, understand the needs, motivate, resolve conflicts, building images of the stake holders, formulate common vision, Assist action plan, formulation and Implementation, assist creation and re-orientation of local Institutions/Associations, plan in advance for sourcing funds from various sources, draw up a cash flow statement, providing policy support and overall management of activities effectively associating with Implementing Agency, for success of SFURTI programme. The applicant shall also monitor the progress in implementation of the action plan and its sub-elements and to report to concerned authorities. The job description may be modified suitable, as per the requirement of the scheme and would be binding upon the candidate.
