An awareness camp was taken by us to make aware the women artisans of Yalgud who are skilled in making the traditional kolhapuri jewellery, the importance of Artisan card distributed by DC Handicrafts(Ministry of Textiles) and the facilities that will be availed by them with the help of this card like LIC policy, national and international exhibitions free of cost, scholarships to their children who are studying in the std from 9th to 12th,skill trainings,workshops,etc.
